The Company was founded by Chris Moran and Joe Ellis as CalderCar in November 2018, but rebranded to findmy.car in August 2021 to reflect their fast-growing vision for the future.

Chris, who leads the company, had spent 5 years as a sales executive at two big and well-known dealerships where he had several opportunities to be promoted to a more managerial role. However, he was not happy with the pay structure which or the small percentage he was earning considering the net profit he was generating. He had always harboured ambitions of operating a car sales business but one that did things very differently to the places he had worked at.

What training will I receive?

You will be fully trained in all aspects of owning and operating a findmy.car Franchise. The training, both theoretical and practical, will take place at company-owned findmy.car sites and at your site as it opens, and will be carried out by Chris and our experienced Car Finding Specialists.

You will not be allowed to open your site until you have satisfactorily completed the training course. findmy.car training staff will then visit new Franchisees to ensure compliance with the findmy.car systems and methodology.
